The hardcover book jacket was designed for a fictional story suited towards teens and young adult females. The story “The Lost Letters of Alexandria” was designed as a timeless mystery romance book. The context of the story is set-in modern-day Alexandria and dives into the ancient mysteries of the lost letters. The pink, orange and blue colors on the front cover evoke a sense of romance and ancient aesthetic. A composite of various aspects of Alexandria were put together in a photo collage to create a handwritten, timeless and organic feel. The white script typeface attains hierarchy and effectively promotes the theme of romance and femininity through the script handwritten symbolism.
